Susie shows that starting each day with 300 to 500ml

water increase metabolic rate slightly
after consumption.
Susie talks also about herbal tea which offers antioxidants
and a small amount of caffeine which will also contribute to a slight metabolic
boost.
HAVE A PROTEIN FILLED BREAKFAST
One of the most important morning rituals is to
have a healthy breakfast filled with protein.
Here, Susie advises to consume btween 20 to 30g
of high quality protein via foods such
as eggs, Greek yogurt, protein based smoothies and higher protein bread is the
easiest way to set the platform for a day of healthy eating.
What happen to your body while having a high
protein breakfast ?
Such a breakfast help to regulate
blood glucose levels throughout the morning and keep you full for several hours,
but protein
rich foods actually require more calories to digest than carbohydrate rich
foods thus helping to boost metabolic rate.
FIBRE-RICH FOODS
Fiber is incredibly important.
It leaves your stomach undigested and ends up in your colon,
where it feeds friendly gut bacteria, leading to various health benefits
Certain types of fiber may also promote weight loss, lower blood sugar levels
and fight constipation.
The recommended daily intake is 25 grams for women and 38 grams
for men.
To benefit of those
advantages’s fibre, we can include in our breakfast vegetables or sliced fruit served with your
eggs; high protein, lower carb breads that are generally made with fibre rich
wholegrains and seeds and a serve of bran, oats or fresh fruit which you can
add to smoothies or Greek yogurt.
DON’T FORGET ABOUT CAFFEINE
The dietitian Susie Burrell shows
that a morning coffee can help to lose weight, while she said that it allows to
boost and increase fat metabolism.
She adds that an upper daily limit of 300-400mg
of caffeine each day is recommended for an average adult.

glucose levels is usually done six to eight hours after the last meal.
So it's most commonly done before breakfast in the morning; and
the normal range there is 70 to 100 milligrams per deciliter.
